Confetti cannons ready?!

During casual conversation with a colleague today she mentioned it was her five year business birthday – wow! I was so excited for her and a bit sad she and the co-owner had not planned a little something special to mark the milestone.

“Tough times don’t last, tough teams do.” – Unknown.

After being closed six weeks their business reopened May 18, 2020 during the second phase with customers ready to return. That in and of itself is something to celebrate.

The Washington Post reports, “More than 100,000 small businesses have closed forever as the nation’s pandemic toll escalates” in the article Small business used to define America’s economy. The pandemic could change that forever.

Even more reason to celebrate.

Be creative. Throw a socially-distanced party, host a day-in-the-life Live, highlight staff, products, services using video vignettes.

I plan to stop by her business before the week’s end with a #5 jumbo balloon to wish them a happy belated business birthday!
